I didn't stay up late enough to catch Santa. - 25 Dec 2006 03:52 am

I was all set on working on the comic from my parents' house while visiting for Christmas, but ended up leaving my wacom tablet that I use to draw the comics at home. The above comic is brought to you by printer paper and one of these bizarre Pentech "pencils". I'm happy to find my parents' scanner still works.

I was honestly planning to have the comic end to reveal Sarah all covered in cacao plants, asking what her medicine was and being disgusted to find that it was the soul of Omacatl before being told that's the only cure for being cursed by Quetzalcoatl. At that point Sarah would complain that all she did was "ask him if he had any chocolate", because, you know, Quetzalcoatl just hates being asked about chocolate.

...Yeah. I like this more.

Are you up to date on this Colbert vs. Decemberists love? The guitar solo duel between Colbert and Chris Funk ended up being far more ridiculous than I anticipated. Henry Kissinger moderated? Seriously?

Merry Christmas.
