When I first wrote this comic I honestly couldn't stop laughing at it. About halfway through drawing it my mind caught onto the seeds of repetition and tired tricks that my foolish soul had planted and howled in protest. "WHAT DO YOU THINK THIS IS? THIS AIN'T ZIGGY! YOU CAN'T DO THAT SHIT!" blared over loudspeakers in my brain and the terrified denizens therein milled about in a poor attempt to look as though they were addressing the problem. Their heads were very large.

I tend to have the realization that I absolutely loathe the script I am drawing about halfway through the process of birthing its more colorful doppleganger, and then come back to said image the next day and laugh at it. I take it to be a bad sign if I like a comic while I am drawing it.



Can you hear it? Can you hear the sound of the world crying? Magic Mountain is up for sale or closure. Six Flags, why hast thou forsaken me?

On a vaguely related note, the Superman Inflato Suit is a thing of beauty. When I was young I did not know of the insatiable hunger that lay within my nascent heart, but if I had encountered such a treasure as this, I am sure I would have recognized my want, nay, my need, for inflatable pectorals.

I'm headed out of town a few hours earlier than planned and so had no time to work on the comic before leaving. Unless I encounter a magical digital wonderland on my camping trip, I doubt that I will be able to have the comic to you by Sunday. I return on July 5th.
