My first holiday-based comic? - 30 Oct 2006 02:12 am

Jonas pressed his hand against the window and looked out into the snow. The sky had come down and let loose a quiet, beautiful death upon the trembling fall. He breathed where his hand had been and watched its outline fog onto the glass before fading to nothing.

Ah, Halloween: the day where rambunctious preteens can assert their individuality through petty vandalism. Pumpkins were too expensive for me to bother making a jack-o-lantern this year, but this would have shamed whatever carving endeavors I could have potentially pursued, regardless.

New comics on Mondays, because the weekends are evidently full.

Burrito Alert - 31 Oct 2006 05:55 pm

This may be late notice for some of you. I've been cooped up in labs (the kind where I work, not the kind where I am worked on) for the last day, but I believe that you deserve to be informed before the event if possible.

Chipotle is giving free burritos to anyone that dresses up like a burrito for Halloween (from 5 to 10 in my area, but I hear this varies for places where Chipotle closes earlier). I recommend making plans to aid in enjoying the event to its fullest.
